Optimising the G-Value to Deliver a Low Impact Building

The document below is a technical report outlining the evidence supporting the optimisation of the glazing G-Value in high-rise office buildings in London, UK. I also create a plan for when consideration of this design solution should be implemented within the design process, and who would be responsible for the work. This all relates to current UK and London targets to achieve low carbon impact and sustainable buildings. Previous to this report I also analysed the impacts of optimising the G-Value on a general office building Revit model, using Insight to test how the optimisation of the G-Value decreases the overall energy usage of the buidling through reducing overheating in the summer months and therefore the cooling loads of the building.
